As part of our topic this term of living things and their habitats, we visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Park today and had an absolutely amazing time! We got up close to a polar bear, enjoyed watching the naughty baboons, and found the red panda really adorable (so much so that Miss Hemstock had to buy a red panda to live in our 'classroom' habitat). We also had a special lesson about animal habitats, where we got to learn a little about the different animals that live in each habitat in the world and ask questions about the animals at the zoo. We even got taught an ostrich dance and had the chance to try it in front of the ostriches.
