Eco trip to Natureland
On the 4th March, the children in the KS1 and KS2 Eco clubs visited the Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegness. Natureland is primarily dedicated to treating and returning seals to their natural habitat. It is also the home of Boston West Academy's 18 year old sponsored seal, Fergie. The children learnt a lot of information about the importance of the work Natureland does, linking into our school value of: 'care for the environment'. As well as seals, the children had lots of fun visting other animals too such as fish, goats, guinea pigs, penguins, butterflies, lizards and caimans.
